Trust Adopts IT-Lifeline’s Mobile Recovery Solution
Spokane, Washington –
March, 2008 – IT-Lifeline, a provider of fully tailored business continuity
solutions, announced today that Washington Trust Bank of Spokane will use their Mobile Recovery
service. Washington Trust, which already
depends on IT-Lifeline for data backup, technology failover, and hot-site
recovery services, will add Mobile Recovery, a solution that provides a
secondary mobile unit to remotely located bank employees to continue business
operations following a disaster.
Mobile Recovery is a service IT-Lifeline offers in
partnership with Rentsys, Inc, a nationally recognized mobile recovery center provider. When adversity strikes any location where
Washington Trust operates, IT-Lifeline will coordinate the delivery of a mobile office equipped with power generation,
satellite communications, workstations, printers, office furniture and other
relevant items necessary to resume business.
IT-Lifeline will then help integrate the mobile recovery center to
Washington Trust’s primary headquarters location or to the IT-Lifeline Business
Continuity Center.
“Since 2003 we have depended on IT-Lifeline to backup and
safeguard our corporate data and provide data center, technology, and workspace
recovery if adversity strikes our headquarters operation,” expressed Senior VP and CIO of
Washington Trust Bank, Jim Brockett. “Because they have delivered on their
promise of business continuity on multiple occasions, we feel confident in
expanding our relationship with IT-Lifeline to take care of the continuity
needs for our remote offices. The IT-Lifeline
engineers are extremely responsive, professional and knowledgeable and their
new Mobile Recovery option ensures that we can provide uninterrupted service to
our customers no matter where they are located.”
We are pleased that Washington Trust Bank has chosen us to
further strengthen their business technology continuation strategy.” said Steven
Tabacek, President and CEO of IT-Lifeline. “The bank clearly understands the
value IT-Lifeline brings to business, particularly the highly regulated
financial services sector. We look forward to ensuring the continuing high
performance operation of Washington Trust’s technology infrastructure, even
under the most demanding conditions.”
